According to Hal (Harold) Williams, Jack's brother: Jack's father died early from lung complications. He was on a train back from (?) Portland, OR. The mother raised the three children with a rooming house in Boise, ID. Hal did not say how their mother died, but she was living with Hal (or near by) at the time of her death. Their sister "Mary Fran" became a "nun" after school, but died early from what was termed "massive" cancer.
