General Notes: Husband - David Davidson

James seems to have had a son David per Campbell County tax lists. See entry under father James. I have placed this David here due to the age approximately matching. Per tithes, he was born about 1792 which is close to the census records of 1790.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Follow all the paperwork trail here....but picture of cemetary where family is buried (family home where daughter Jane last lived) lists Davids children, but indicates Samuel as father. I wonder, since the headstone was erected mre than 60 years after Davids death, that it just might be in error.

HEADSTONE READS:
On this site are buried the remains of Mr and Mrs Sam W, Davidson and their children Miss Anne, Miss Jane, Miss Liza, Garth and unknown infant
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In 1842, Campbell A Davidson signed a purchase bond with John Davidson (who married Polly Caffrey) when John purchased the land at public sale belonging to John Caffrey who died 1790. Campbell A Davidson also purchased the interest of the two sons, John and Barney, of their deceased father Charles Caffrey, son of Old John Caffrey. After John Davidson purchased the land (1842) , he gave the commissioner instructions to execute a deed to Robert Rebelay and David Davidson. This land was the 223a by survey dated 14 Dec 1754 Bedford Co, formerly Albemarle, on both sides of Beavers Creek on the south side of the Fluvanna.

Could the David referenced here be this David?
Note: Robert Revelay on same 1850 census page as David and Carolyn.

General Notes: Husband - David A Davidson

This is pure speculation, that David is a son of this Thomas. His first born is named Thomas, I a have long speculated that David and Jordan are related, originally thinking they were cousins. Speculation was based on:

David A Davidson and family lived next door to Uel Musick in 1840 Franklin County, Mo census
The Wade family is listed close by.

1840 census, Franklin County, Mo - Calvey Township, (ancestry lists Galena)
A few entries away from Eul Misick; also a couple Johns families
David A Davidson 2 boys < 5, 1 female age 20-30, 1 male age 30-40, 6 slaves
-------------------------------------------------------
This family seems to have disappeared. Could they have died in choler outbreak, such as the one which killed James and his wife in 1854?
--------------------------------------------------------------
Note -- in same township as Jordan:
DAVEDSON JAMES Franklin 223 St. John Twp 0121001000000 1000001000000

Thus

Note: ages dont match for the two boys, who were born in VA in the 1830s, suggesting the family wasn't in MO until 1837. Could th 1830 and 1840 David be different men?
