Dorothy Jane Wilson Ratcliff, age 85, of Saltville, Va., passed from this life on Friday, August 25, 2017, to go be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ She was born April 5, 1932, in Saltville, Va. where she lived most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ratcliff; her parents, Millie Matthew Wilson and Mae Davidson Wilson; one son, David; one grandson, Calvin Reece III; one great-grandson, Dalton Tolbert; brother, Jessie; sisters, Virginia, Betty, Hattie and Rose. She is survived by daughters, Peggy Kimberlin, Patsy Ratcliff and Kathy O'Quinn; a son, Curtis Ratcliff; brothers, Johnny and Robert Wilson; and a sister, Judy Doane; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Dorothy "Dot" Ratcliff will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2017, in the Midway Memorial Chapel with Pastor Kenny Gilbert, the Rev. R.L. Frye and Pastor James Gentry officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 until 2 p.m. prior to the service.
