General Notes: Husband - James Turner Davidson

Death date and location from ancestry tree: Baily Family Tree, normakarcbatbf

I am unsure where the "T" for "Turner" was established

Birth and death information of Nov 11, 1877 from Davidson DNA participant 130636, Note that death date is same as death date, also from an internet tree, of Uncle James. One is probably incorrect. I show approximately 1888 based on headstone for civil war veteran contract.

Initial info from Frye Family Tree (Owner: redheadkelly)

In 1860, he is living next door to James Sr. I believe James Sr may be a brother of Micajah. James Sr has his own son listed, a James H. Note: I have read that sometimes census takers would simply call the older one Sr and the younger Jr, even though they may not be related. On the other side is an NT Martin, (probably Newton T) which lends some credence to his first wife being a "Martin"

Heastone provided by a contract Aug 21, 1888 (cemetery near Watson, Effingham County) Headstone could have been provided long after death. At any rate, this date would seem to rule out James H., who died in 1908.Other candidate is James, brother of Micajah, who would have been in his 40s/50s during the war.
