"Carlton J. Roseboom passed away at the St. Clair Hospital in Schenectady, Sunday morning, May 3rd at 8:30 a. m. after a five weeks illness. Mr. Roseboom was born in Seward, June 25, 1908, son of Carey and Clara (Pullen) Roseboom and moved to Westford with his parents where he attended Westford School. He was a resident here until nine years ago when he moved to Schenectady. He married Miss Lorraine Renshaw of Decatur on June 25, 1932. He entered the U. S. Army in 1926 and received his honorable discharge at the end of his service. He married Miss Lorraine Renshaw of Decatur on June 25, 1932. He entered the U. S. Army in 1926 and received his honorable discharge at the end of his service.
He is survived by his wife, six children, Faye, David, Judith, Gran:, Carlton Jr., and Gail, all at home; by his parents; brother, Leon Roseboom of Maple Grove; one sister, Mrs. James Strong of Westford, several nephews and nieces.
Funeral .services were held Wednesday of last week at the Skinner Funeral Home in Worcester. Rev. Walter A. Miller of Gilbertsville fficiated with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery, Worcester.
Bearers were former school mates, Leo Webster. Scheuevus; Percy Holmes, Decatur: Leland Roseboom, Cobleskill: Charles Mould, Jr., J. E, Palmer and Edwin Lynes of Westford.

"Funeral services will be held Monday for Mrs. Lorraine Renshaw Roseboom, 46, of 26 Market street, Scotia, who died yesterday in St. Clare's Hospital shortly after her admittance. The services will be at 9:30 a.m. in the Mabee and Berning funeral home, 1 Mohawk avenue, Scotia. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Worcester. The funeral home will be open after 7 p.m. tomorrow. Born in Charles City, Iowa, Mrs. Roseboom had lived in Schenectady county 17 years. She was last employed as a waitress. Mrs. Roseboom was the widow of Carlton J. Roseboom, who died May 3, 1953. Survivors are three daughters, Faye and Gail Roseboom, Scotia and Mrs. Robert Wilson, Hawaiian Islands; two sons, Grant and Carlton Roseboom, Jr.; five sisters, Mrs. Fay McMillan, Norwalk, Conn.; Mrs. Frank Herman, Cherry Valley; Mrs. John Herman, Ventura, Calif.; Mrs. Raymond Childs, Grand Rapids, Minn.; Mrs. Jessie Chamberlin, Cobleskill; two brothers, Harold Renshaw, Grand Rapids, Minn.; Carlton Renshaw, Australia; and three grandchildren."
